However, if you can smoothly link to your site&#039;s product or service pages in the body of the article, by all means do so!

As for word count, again &quot;it depends.&quot;  I know.  General rule of thumb is 800 - 1,200 words, if the content calls for that length.  If you find yourself challenged to make that length, rather than droll on for the sake of word count, just keep it on the short side or consider making it a blog.  (We&#039;ll be talking about blogging next Monday).
