Great quotes Heather, and great points, particularly about removing your ego from the situation.

I can't resist guessing at which episodes the quotes are from, I swear I am not Googling!

“Computers make excellent and efficient servants, but I have no wish to serve under them.” [THE ULTIMATE COMPUTER - definitely]

“Insufficient facts always invite danger.” [That's a tough one. I'm going to guess BALANCE OF TERROR?]

“It is curious how often you humans manage to obtain that which you do not want.” [Definitely early first season, he doesn't say humans much latter on...

“What you want is irrelevant, what you have chosen is at hand.” [MIRROR, MIRROR - maybe?]

“Change is the essential process of all existence.” [METAMORPHOSIS ?. Of course, as we all know, Metamorphosis + The Changeling = ST:TMP. Or is this a reference to the Organian's arrested development? Not positive on this one.]

Anyone else? No Googling!

What a cute post! I think my favorite point is the first one. It's so easy to get tripped up in writing specifically to appease Google. That's not only a problem when algorithms change, but it definitely zaps some of the creativity out of content for a business, too. If you want to stand out with your content, listing searchable terms probably isn't the best way to go about it.
